Organized From The Start (OFTS) would like to thank the store owners and staff of Baby It’s You (Houma, LA), Oh Baby! (Baton Rouge), A Woman’s Work (Houston, TX), and The Carousel (Columbus, MS).

 They directly distributed BabyBriefcases donated by OFTS to new or expectant Moms displaced by Hurricane Katrina who literally have no filing systems. In addition to running their stores, these inspirational women have been tirelessly involved in auctions, baby clothing drives, or taking in their own displaced family members.

Helping Store Owners Rebuild

Under normal circumstances, launching a retail store requires charisma, cash management, and a sense of humor.  Under extraordinary circumstances, reopening a store after a catastrophe, requires pure courage.  Through December, 2006, Organized From The Start will provide a free counter stand and free shipping with opening wholesale orders.
